This is the first installment of a series of exercises. In this volume, dedicated to the game, the author has selected 496 positions that come from recent real games and has separated the examples into 11 different categories, covering tactics and strategy as well as attack and defense.  Romain Edouard, who has achieved an ELO of 2702 points, is part of the French national team since 2001. In 2006 he won the gold medal in the European sub-16 and in 2007, the silver medal in the European sub- 18 and the silver medal in the U-18 world championship. Since becoming a great teacher at the age of 18, he won numerous international tournaments, Al Ain Open 2012, Dubai Open 2014, among others.

Edouard is recognized as a dynamic player and as a fighter for the initiative since the first movement. He has written 4 books and has the reputation of being a conscientious and spectacular writer. He is also a columnist for prestigious media such as Chess Base, Europe Echecs and Chess Review.
