Its three volumes include the greatest battles disputed by the greatest chess player of all time.

He himself comments on his games, from which he played with ten years of age, which were already beautiful and intense, until those that took place in 2005, the year of his retirement.

This work has received the applause of the critic and the public for its rigorous analysis and the exhaustive details with which it describes the evolution of the chess, both inside and outside the board. 1985-1993

In the 1980s and early 1990s, Kasparov increased his enormous superiority over his rivals. He had a very sharp attack style and almost never lost. The items contained in this volume, played by Kasparov against the best chess players in the world, are true masterpieces.

This period includes three defenses of the title against Karpov and a series of small encounters against elite players, like Hübner, Anderssen, Timman and Miles.

Also at that time Kasparov achieved spectacular results in two individual and team events. He won the gold medal in three Chess Olympiad (Dubai 1986, Thessaloniki 1988 and Manila 1992) and completely dominated the World Cup in the late 1980s, always ending first or first shared: Belfort 1988 (11½ / 15), Reykjavik 1988 (11/17), Barcelona 1989 (11/16) and Skelleftea 1989 (9½ / 15). Other victories in important tournaments include Brussels 1987 (8½ / 11), Amsterdam 1988 (12.09), Tilburg 1989 (12/14), Belgrade 1989 (9½ / 11) and Linares 1990 (8/11).
