Staunton design chess pieces. Although they are made of plastic, their weight is greater than the usual pieces of this material, called “double weight”. Thanks to their extra weight they are ideal for playing fast games, as this provides more stability.
They are beige and dark brown, very resistant and with a felt base. The height of the king is 100 mm and the diameter of its base is 45 mm. The set includes double queen and its total weight is 1 kg.
Supplied with a wool bag to store the pieces.
